Perkins IV Requirements Assistance
CTECS can help your agency in meeting Perkins IV requirements
while improving programs in one or more of the following ways:
- Advising on how to set up an assessment system
- Conducting the standards setting and assessment
development process
- Assisting in determining priorities and linking existing
standards to appropriate program areas
- Locating, developing, and validating standards, item
banks, and assessments based on gap analysis
- Conducting on-site standards setting, item writing, and
technical committee review and validation sessions
- Training and assisting with field testing related to
assessment construction and administration
- Providing access to a web-based assessment delivery
system
- Serving as a central resource collector and provider
